After MWC 2017, I was particularly impressed with Huawei’s pair of the P10 and P10 Plus. Asides being one of the highpoints of the MWC, both phones reiterated Huawei’s drive for market dominance in no distant future.
In today’s #PhoneWars segment, we look at how the new HuaweiP10 Plus (2017) stands against one of the very Best Android smartphones released to date – the SamsungGalaxy S7 Edge (2016).
The P10 Plus does slightly better too in the main camera departments, but ties with the S7 edge in the selfie battle
The USB Type C port of the P10 Plus is definitely ahead of the microUSB 2.0 of the S7 edge
In the battery square off, the P10 Plus slightly edges out the S7 edge
The S7 edge however scores points for being water and dust proof, for its health monitoring sensors, for its in-built Samsung Pay capabilities (this enables you pay for goods and services by simply tapping or bringing the rear end of the phone against a POS machine) and for being cheaper than the HuaweiP10 Plus.
