Could this be the leaked images of a Nokia phone we expect to return to the market this year courtesy FIH Mobile?
Pictures of an all metal frame of an unnamed Nokia handset surfaced via a post on Weibo. And with reference to size, we can rightfully say for sure that this isn’t the 13.8” Nokia D1C tablet.
Little or no information is known about the phone, but the metal back piece seems to match these renders that show a completed device. The renders show two holes at the back for a camera and a flash. There are two card trays on the left side, a USB Type-C (probably) port on the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Of course, the author of these renders may have taken artistic license.
There will likely be three colors variants: Gold, White and Black. Notice how only the Gold one has a physical Home button (and reportedly a fingerprint reader). This points to two separate versions – regular and Pro maybe?
Concrete specs are unknown at the moment. Since the expected D1C tablet is said to run on Android’s 7.0 Nougat OS, so the phones should too. But we hope they avoid the tablet’s expected low-end Snapdragon 430 chipset.
