Huawei-owned Honor, just launched the Honor 6X in China and its a worthy upgrade indeed from the Honor 5X.
Honor fanatics can testify to the fact that the company is known for manufacturing budget Android handsets that deliver on top notch quality. The 6X looks like what will stay trendy for a long time.
It features a 5.5in 1080p display encased in a metal unibody. Other specifics include an Octacore Kirin 655 processor, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage space, and a 3,340 mAh battery.
The camera features are its best parts. The dual rear shooters provide a 12MP and 2MP sensors, whilst the front camera houses an 8MP sensor. The 6X dimensions come in at 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2 mm and it weighs 162 grams.
The device can be used in both dual-SIM or SIM-plus-microSD card configurations. The microSD ROM expansion can be done up to 128GB. It also arrives with Huawei’s Emotion UI 4.1 (based on Android Marshmallow 6.0) out of the box.
The device will be available in gold, silver or gray color variants. Pricing upon release is set at $150 for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage model, $190 for the 4GB/32GB version and $240 for 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage space.
The Honor 6X will begin sales in China on October 25. Price and availability details for the US aren’t yet known, but as the Honor 5X made it stateside, there’s every chance that the 6X could also.
