Remember the Nokia D1C device we said leaked via GFXBench tests a couple of weeks ago (read here)? Well, it just so happens that more test leaks confirm that it’s likely a Tablet and not a smartphone.
Said to be an Android OS tablet, its pretty much real and under serious testing.
According to GFXBench, the Nokia D1C is powered by Android OS 7.0 Nougat, so it should definitely stand out from other tablets available in the market. Some of the information revealed by the benchmark confirms previous reports about the Nokia D1C; like the fact that its packed with a 1.4GHz octa-core processor (Snapdragon 430?) and an Adreno 505 graphics processing unit (GPU).
It is said to feature 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, though the benchmark only shows 9GB of free storage available. Nokia D1C is said to also boast a 16-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with an 8-megapixel secondary camera in the front. Both cameras will be able to record full HD (1080p) videos.
Another hint at the Nokia D1C being a tablet is the size of the screen leaked. Test leaks further confirm that this upcoming Nokia device sports a large 13.8-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution
However, the countdown is indeed on to the official launch of the rumoured 3 or 4 devices we expect from Nokia between now and March 2017.
In the mean time…Way to go Nokia…
