When Samsung introduced the “Phablet”(a phone with screen size bigger than 5-inches but under the basic 7-inch screen size of a tablet) category with the launch of its Note series in September 2011, many analysts expressed doubts over the success of such a venture that seemed far-fetched.
Doubts were further stressed by comments from notable OEM chiefs on the reasons why such a category would “fail”.
5 years down the line and the successes recorded in terms of sales by this niche of phone sizes cannot be overemphasised, with Apple even joining the pack..Lol.. Reason? The Phablets bring the functionality of a phone on a screen size that’s portable and convenient enough to browse and do more productive tasks on, without having to opt for a full-blown tablet.
Today, we bring 2 of the new school midrange Phablets that have taken the Nigerian market by storm, in a Specs face – off for supremacy: the Infinix Note 3 vs the InnJoo Max 3.

Despite its bigger 4500mAh battery, the Note 3 manages to remain slightly slimmer than the Max 3. Also, the Note 3 is clearer, faster and has a better selfie camera performance in lowlight due to its front facing flash. However, the Max 3 is easier on your budget compared to the Note 3.
