One Chinese OEM that has indeed been very busy this year is LeEco. It’s LeEco LePro 2 (you can order it here on our site through the banner below) launched barely 6 months ago amidst impressive reviews and now the OEM is getting its successor – LePro 3 ready.
Images of the supposed LePro 3 have leaked online, indicating a likely launch on the 21st of September. While one image shows off the rear side of the LePro 3, the other looks like a scene from a promo involving an actor holding the phone:
The LePro 3 would be coming in two variants. The base model (as shown above) would feature: 5.5in IPS LCD 1080x1920p screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU, 6GB RAM, 64GB ROM expandable via microSD, 16MP main camera, 8MP selfie shooter & a 4070mAh battery.
The more premium model would feature: 5.7in 1440x2560p QHD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU, 6GB RAM, 256GB ROM, dual 13MP main cameras, 16MP selfie shooter & a relatively befitting 5000mAh battery.
No info on pricing has been made available but we predict a likely range of between $300-400 for both base and premium models.
