With all the news about Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 exploding in some locations putting the Korean OEM and it’s sales in a limbo, its fiercest rival – Apple is trending with teasers of the iPhone 7 ahead of its launch this week.
Judging from new leaked info on the coming iPhone 7 team, Apple might really pull it off against the odds of a perceived “lack of excitement” about the iPhone 7 earlier this year. KGI Securities, a leading Apple products analysts and budding “leakster”, in Taiwan has hinted on new features the iPhone 7 would bring to the dance floor and the iPhone 7 Plus is already looking delicious.
Asides the common rumours that have been confirmed by picture leaks here and there such as a new build design due to the arched antenna lines at the back, improved and fortified aluminium build quality, no 3.5mm headphone jack anymore, water resistance, etc , KGI has made known that the new iPhone 7 team would indeed be the Fastest iPhones ever produced, with a clock rate even putting it ahead of its latest iPad Pro.
The company stated that we would be witnessing Apple’s A10 processors debut on the iPhone 7 team with a whooping 2.4GHz speed clock rate. Also reconfirmed is the bigger battery for the iPhone 7 Plus as well as its 3GB RAM, while the smaller iPhone 7 maintains its 2GB RAM.
The memory models expected would be 32GB, 128GB & 256GB (I wonder who buys a 256GB ROM iPhone…lol). While the 7 Plus would brandish a dual 12MP camera setup, the smaller iPhone would come with a single 12MP camera.
New sensors are said to be coming with the new iPhone 7 team to support hand gestures as well as an improved force touch screen action, with a piano black colour option in addition to 4 others.
