Korean OEM, Samsung has ordered a recall of the Galaxy Note 7 Units worldwide due to reported explosions.
With over 2.5Million units of Samsung’s latest flagship – the Galaxy Note 7; sold worldwide already, there has been 35 confirmed cases of explosions recorded when the units concerned were plugged to charge.
In its statement released a short while ago, Samsung stressed its commitment to ensuring that the battery issues would be sorted out with their suppliers and due to the high priority placed on their customers’ safety, all sales of the Note 7 have been stopped worldwide.
However, those with reported issues of battery problems would be entitled to a free replacement by Samsung over the coming weeks.
