During the run-of-the-mill with relation to specs leak prelude to the official launch of the Galaxy Note 7, we gathered that the Galaxy Note 7 would come with 6GB RAM on board with a supporting ROM size of 128GB. But upon launch last week, we got to see 4GB RAM & 64GB ROM make it on the Note 7, which to some extent came across as disappointing.
But if news coming from China is anything to go by, there really is a 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variant of the Galaxy Note 7 and it is already getting certified for official launch in China.
The rather “unsettling” bit about this development is that this variant would likely only be available in China.
No reason has been given for this, but it’s said the 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variant would sell for $914 compared to the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM variant with a price tag of $855.
You will recall that the Galaxy Note 7 features a 5.7in Super AMOLED 1440x2560p QuadHD screen @518ppi, 2.3GHz/2.2GHz Octacore/Quadcore Samsung Exynos 8890 CPU/Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU, 12MP camera, 5MP selfie, Android OS 6.0.2, Iris scanner, Fingerprint scanner, is water and dust resistant, has a USB Type-C port and a 3500mAh battery.
Why does something tell me we would get this variant “officially or unofficially” here in Nigeria?… lol
