Ok wait a minute…
Yup! We sure are as Huawei has just unveiled its near tablet-sized Honor Note 8. Standing at a screen size of 6.6inches, it’s touted as a worthy media viewing powerhouse due to its Full HD AMOLED screen and almost non-existent bezels.
Running the show under the hood is a 2.5GHz 8-core HiSilicon Kirin 955 CPU to ensure quick response to tasks, backed by the ample 4GB RAM. This sure will see the gaming capabilities of the Note 8 soar. Due to its large outlook, Huawei was able to fit in a 4500mAh non-removable battery that supports fast charging, in a tablet..oh sorry! Phablet that’s just 7.18mm thick.
In the camera department, Huawei has packed a 13MP main camera that features autofocus, Optical Image Stabilisation and a dual LED flash to capture breathtaking sceneries in their true colours. It’s selfie game is also on-point with an 8MP camera that’s been praised for its ability to take in a great degree of lighting.
Other features include a fingerprint sensor at the back that’s really fast in response, a USB Type-C port, Dual SIM support, split screen functionality and an interesting act of knocking the screen with your Knuckle to take a screenshot.
