Unveiled at a media event in China, the Redmi Pro is probably Xiaomi’s Best Looking Phone to date and the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature a double camera setup at the back. It’s chamfered edge design as well as brushed metal body make up for its indeed head-turning looks.
It features a 5.5in AMOLED 1080x1920p FullHD screen, with a set of 2.3GHz Decacore Helio X20/X25 CPU running it’s processes. It comes with a 3/4GB RAM, with 64/128GB ROM options. Just as emphasised above, a dual camera setup constitutes it’s rear camera with Sony’s 13MP camera sensor seeing to the actual still images and the Samsung 5MP camera seeing to post picture processing. A selfie camera of 5MP also makes the cut.
The home button has a fingerprint scanner within, a USB Type C port , with a 4050mAh battery keeping the phone running optimally for at least 2days.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro runs on the Andorid OS 6.0.1 version, support Dual Micro SIM cards all in a build thickness of 8.15mm. It’s expected to start selling in China from the 6th of August next week with a base price of $255.
