The Pebble smartwatch was one of the best selling smartwatches last year due to its simple outlook and budget friendly price. Recently, the American OEM, Pebble Technology announced the newest upgrade in this line of watches called the Pebble 2.
With a design not too far off its original offering, the Pebble 2 is indeed an upgrade in every sense as it offers more screen stretch with less bezels, employe Gorilla Corning glass instead of plastic as it was in the model for last year and a more premium feel.
The Pebble 2 features a 1.26in 144x168p e-ink always on screen, with a plethora of sensors which enables you track your heart beat, sleep time, steps taken via its accelerometer. This 2nd generation Pebble watch is also able to give 7days of optimal use on a single charge.
Its straps are swapable which allows for customisation to your taste.
The Pebble 2 ships to various markets in September 2016 and is said to sell from $99.
Nice one really…
